Penn State THON Volunteers in Malvern

Penn State THON volunteers will be raising money in Malvern to benefit pediatric cancer patients and research from October 28-30th.

The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately known as THON, is a yearlong fundraising effort to raise money for pediatric cancer patients and research at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. THON raises money for the Four Diamonds, an organization benefiting Penn State Hershey, to fund critical research and ensure that no family battling pediatric cancer will ever see a medical bill.

Each year, organizations at Penn State come together and fundraise for THON and the Four Diamonds; Springfield, which is solely dedicated to fundraising and supporting families battling pediatric cancer, will be hosting a fundraising outreach and canning weekend from October 28th-30th. About 10 Springfield THON volunteers will be soliciting in your area this coming weekend, and we wanted to further our efforts by reaching out to the community. Keep a lookout for volunteers soliciting at storefronts this weekend; every donation brings us one step closer to a cure. Together, we can end pediatric cancer.
