Penn State THON Volunteers Raise Money In Malvern
THON is a yearlong fundraising effort to raise money for pediatric cancer patients and research.

MALVERN, PA -- Fundraisers with the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately known as THON, will be in the Malvern area for outreach and canning from October 28 through October 30.
THON is a yearlong fundraising effort to raise money for pediatric cancer patients and research at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
THON raises money for the Four Diamonds, an organization benefiting Penn State Hershey, to fund critical research and ensure that no family battling pediatric cancer will ever see a medical bill, according to a news release.

Each year, organizations at Penn State come together and fundraise for THON and the Four Diamonds; Springfield, which is solely dedicated to fundraising and supporting families battling pediatric cancer, will be hosting a fundraising outreach and canning weekend from October 28th-30th.
About 10 Springfield THON volunteers will be soliciting in the Malvern area over Halloween weekend. Keep a lookout for volunteers soliciting at storefronts in the coming days.
