Pharmaceutical Company Announces Malvern Layoffs, Reports Say
Endo Pharmaceutical will cut nearly 100 jobs, with a many affecting its Malvern location.
Endo Pharmaceutical, an international pharmaceutical company based in Malvern and Dublin Ireland, will be cutting nearly 100 jobs, including layoffs at its Malvern location.
According to multiple reports, the company will cut 45 jobs at its U.S. headquarters in Malvern.
The company announced the layoffs Thursday, saying they are an effort to save $40 to $50 million annually, according to Philly.com.

The outlet reports the layoff mainly will affect corporate functions, branded pharmaceutical research, development positions.
The Delaware County Daily Times said the elimination of the 90 jobs, which includes layoff and positions that won't be filled, is part of a company reorganization effort.
