Duane Milne's 50+ Expo Set For Oct 20 In Malvern
The event will feature information on various services, vaccinations, memory tests, music, light refreshments, and more for folks 50-plus.

MALVERN, PA – Folks in the Malvern area who are 50 and older won't want to miss State Rep. Duane Milne's upcoming 50+ Expo at K.D. Markley Elementary School in Malvern Oct. 20.
Milne is hosting the annual event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the school, located at 354 Swedesford Road in Malvern.
The day will feature various services and agencies that will offer information and resources to attendees.

Participating agencies, organizations, and more include:
- Pennsylvania Mobile Veteran Outreach Van – Veteran services officers will be available to assist veterans and relatives who may qualify for VA benefits.
- Ride SEPTA Free – Pennsylvania residents 65 years and older with valid state-issued ID can get registered for free SEPTA Key Cards. The cards allow free SEPTA rides on all transit routes and regional rail.
- Chester County Sheriff’s Department – Turn-in old and/or unused prescriptions and medicines. By law, no needles or epi-pens can be accepted.
- Smith Auctions – Bring up to three items for verbal appraisal.
- The Forty Niners Chorus – The chorus will perform songs from a wide-ranging repertoire of Broadway hits, American standards, and classical favorites.
There sill also be health-focused services available.

- Rite Aid with be providing flu vaccines, both regular strength and high dose.
- Patient First will give blood pressure screening at no charge.
- Acme will give attendees pneumonia and pertussis tetanus diphtheria vaccinations, which are covered by Medicare.
- Surrey Services with offer Memory Screening from the Alzheimer’s Foundation’s Early Detection Test at no charge.
Attendees looking to use these services should bring their insurance cards.
The event will also feature light refreshments for attendees.
