Route 29 Detour To Begin Wednesday
Will this detour have a significant impact on how you drive around the area?
Phoenixville, PA -- Ongoing construction by the Phoenixville Area School District will lead to a road closure on Route 29 beginning Wednesday.
Route 29 will be detoured from Pothouse Road north to Mobile Street, the district said.
Pothouse Road will remain open during the detour, as will Route 29 south of Pothouse.

The detour will be in effect from July 20 through August 31.

The detour is connected to construction necessary for the creation of the new elementary school and Early Learning Center on the Phoenixville schools campus.
