January events, all of which are complimentary, include Tech 101 tips, cooking demonstrations, yoga, a book club, and Happy Hours. A full list of events is available here.

Echo Lake, with 250 apartments, will offer an array of amenities, including club-like community spaces for socializing and entertaining, a 4,500-sq.-ft. fitness center, a virtual reality room with a high-tech golf simulator, and expansive patios and terraces.

"Sage Senior Living is all about disrupting the negative paradigms around aging," Kelly Cook Andress, founder and president of Sage Senior Living, said. "Community living is an aspirational move; it’s the wisest choice for aging well."

Green thumbs at Echo Lake will be able to reserve individual garden plots.

In addition, the Echo Lake campus includes a three-quarter-mile trail that connects to the extensive Patriots Path trail network, giving residents easy access to walk, run, or bike.

"We firmly believe community living is the best way to fully realize the potential of our senior years,” Andress said. "We should expect, and even demand, that this time is every bit as rewarding and as meaningful as all the other stages of our lives."
