Service Restored, But Expect Residual Delays, SEPTA Says

Service on the Paoli/Thorndale line has been restored, SEPTA announced Tuesday morning, adding that residual delays are possible.

All service on SEPTA’s Paoli/Thorndale Line was suspended Monday night after a tree brought down wires, SEPTA said.

The tree or trees were down at SEPTA’s Devon station, the transit authority said.

Service was suspended overnight, stranding passengers on a bitter cold night during the evening commute.
