Sewer Work Affecting Willistown Traffic This Week

Crews will be replacing a sanitary sewer line on Long Lane in the township and that means the road will be closed.

WILLISTOWN, PA — Willistown Township is replacing a sanitary sewer line this week and a road will close due to the work.

Crews will be replacing the sewer line from Monday, Sept. 16 through about Friday, Sept. 20 on Long Lane.

The work will force Long Lane to close and through-traffic will not be permitted.

Once all the repairs have been completed, the roads affected by the sewer repairs will be repaved.

All work will take place in the street and homeowners will have access to their driveways during the work.

In order to replace this section of sewer line, two pumps will be placed in the street, and they will be required to run 24 hours per day.
