Sign Your Charlestown Elementary 4th And 5th Graders Up For the '24' Math Challenge
The annual Chester County '24' Math Competition could send your students to Harrisburg in June for the final rounds.
Parents and guardians whose fourth and fifth grade Charlestown Elementary students and math inclined should jump on the chance to sign their students up for the Chester County 24 math competition, as registration ends Friday.
The competition is for students in fourth and fifth grades and tasks them with playing '24:' a card game that requires quick thinking for fast addition and subtraction, as well as speedy multiplication and division.
The competition will be held from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Charlestown Elementary School, 2060 Charlestown Road, Malvern.

Winners will move on to the Chester County Intermediate Unit where they will compete against other schools on May 19.
And the finalists from that competition will head to Harrisburg in June to compete on the state level.
