Special Weather Alert Issued for Chester County

The weather service has just issued an alert of patchy dense fog this morning for New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.

“Fog will be dense in patches with near one quarter mile visibility in a few spots, especially along and north of Interstate 78 from east central Pennsylvania across northern New Jersey,” according to the Weather Channel.

The fog in southern New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania should thin out somewhat as the morning progresses.

Today: Areas of dense morning fog. Cloudy with periods of rain. High around 55. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.

Tonight: Rain showers this evening with clearing overnight. Low around 41. West southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%.

Thursday: Some clouds in the morning will giveaway to mainly sunny skies for the afternoon. High around 51. West northwest winds at 15 to 25 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear skies with a low around 33. West northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Sunny with a high around 52. West northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Night: Clear skies with a low around 31. Winds light and variable.

Saturday: Mainly sunny sky with a high around 53. Winds light and variable.

Saturday Night: A mostly clear sky with a low around 29. Winds light and variable.
