Two Elected To Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees

The Foundation Board of Trustees at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital recently elected 2 new members by unanimous vote. The newest board members are Adele C. Oliva of Wayne and Jennifer Paradis of Newtown Square.

The Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees is responsible for developing and strengthening philanthropic support for the hospital and increasing public awareness about the hospital and its programs and services. In addition, the Foundation Board focuses on establishing effective communications between the hospital and the community, educating the community about physical medicine and rehabilitation and assisting with fundraising activities to enhance the programs and services provided at the hospital. Among the board’s successes are the purchase of state-of-the-art robotic ambulation equipment and technology advances for rehabilitation, along with establishing endowment funds dedicated to recruiting and retaining nurses and physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals.

Adele C. Oliva, is a Partner with Quaker Partners, a healthcare venture capital and growth equity firm. Before joining Quaker, Ms. Oliva was a Partner at Apax Partners, a global private equity firm, where she co-led the US Healthcare Group. Ms. Oliva was a Ewing Marion Kauffman Fellow, received a B.Sc. from St. Joseph’s University, and an M.B.A. from Cornell University where she was awarded an Albert Fried Fellowship. She is the founding President of the Private Equity Women’s Investor Network, and is on the Board of Visitors of the Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University.

Jennifer Paradis is a management consultant and Director of Marketing at Gap International,  a consulting firm that transforms leaders and teams to produce breakthrough business results  and profitable growth. Prior to joining Gap International, Jennifer was Director of Development of Breastcancer.org.  In addition, Jennifer has held positions with IMS Health, Glaxo Smith Kline, Procter and Gamble, and Aetna US Healthcare. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan, a certificate in Non Profit Management from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jennifer also serves on the Leadership Council of the Haverford School.
