MALVERN, PA — The Malvern Fire Company serves the community in some of the most important and dangerous moments. But they also lend a hand in other ways, and they recently held a polar plunge for locals with special needs.

The fire company teamed up with PALS — a group committed to helping young adults with Down syndrome and their peers have fun, grow as individuals, and build transformative friendships — to host the PALS Plunge on Jan. 1.

This marked the first-ever PALS Plunge event.
