WATCH: Videos Highlight The Impact of Donor Dollars On Great Valley Students
One local charity is providing an inside look at Great Valley students working with hydroponics and exciting cutting-edge technologies.

New videos posted to The Foundation at Great Valley’s website are each less than 2 minutes long, but they show the far-reaching impact donor dollars are making in the Great Valley School District. The videos highlight several of the grants funded by the Foundation, and provide a glimpse into these grants at work during the school day.
One video follows first graders through a lesson in hydroponic gardening, while another shows how interactive technology in a middle school social studies class keeps everyone engaged at all times, while another tracks the progress of the high school Mural Club as they create the new mural at Patriot Stadium.

“When you see these videos, you really get a sense of the diverse set of needs, talents and interests of our students. There is no better way to tell the story of the value of community support for schools.” said Foundation president, Beth McGarrigle. “Also evident in these videos is the tremendous quality of education our Great Valley students receive. We have great teachers, a broad array of course offerings, and extra-curricular opportunities that engage and inspire all of our students in different ways. The Foundation’s role is to help publicize our great schools, and drive community resources toward continued innovation.”
