West Whiteland Township Seeking Replacement Supervisor

Dr. Joseph Denham resigned his role as a township supervisor. Interested residents are invited to apply to be considered as a replacement,

WEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA – West Whiteland Township Supervisor Dr. Joseph Denham resigned from his position effective Jan. 2 and now the township needs interested residents to apply to fill his seat.

All interested and qualified candidates should submit a letter of interest and resume to Mimi Gleason, Township Manager, at mgleason@westwhiteland.org by Monday, Jan. 8. Applicants must have been a township resident for a at least one year and be a registered voter.

Under state law, the two remaining members of the board – Michele Moll and Theresa Santalucia – must appoint a replacement by the end of the month, according to the township.

Since Denham retired with two years left in his term, the appointed supervisor will serve the remaining two years of term until the next municipal election in November 2019.

The appointment is expected to be made at the Jan. 24 Board of Supervisors meeting.
