Westtown Road To Shut Down For Bridge Replacement

Westtown School will shut down Westtown Road for about six weeks for a bridge replacement, PennDOT announced in a press release.

The closure will begin on Monday, June 13 and continue through at least late July, officials said.

The road will be inaccessible between Oak Lane and Westtown Way.

Traffic will be detoured over Route 926 (Street Road) and U.S. 202, according to PennDOT.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Westtown School will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, PennDOT said.
