Willistown Named One of 100 Safest Towns in America
The low crime rate helped the Main Line community just barely make the list compiled by Safewise.com.

A new study shows that Willistown is not only one of the safest towns in Pennsylvania, but in the entire country.
According to website SafeWise, Willistown is the 99th safest city in America. Pennsylvania towns are well-represented on the list, with Upper Providence named second safest in the United States, followed by South Park Township (fifth) and Whitehall (19th). Murrysville, near Pittsburgh, rounds out the list at 100.
The website says that Willistown “has maintained its rural character by preserving its covered bridge and colonial buildings. The city has also maintained low violent crime and property crime rates from year-to-year, positioning it as a mainstay among America’s ’Safest Cities.’”
