Willistown Opens Winter Wonderland Photo Contest

WILLISTOWN, PA — The Parks and Recreation Department in Willistown Township is looking for your photos of winterscapes.

Anyone 5 and older is invited to submit photos of winter park adventures now through 5 p.m. on Feb. 28 for the Winter Wonderland Photo Contest.

The contest has numerous categories (a full list is below).

Eligible photos must be taken between Jan. 12 and Feb. 28 between dawn and dusk, weather permitting, at any open Willistown Township park, trail, or preserve (Okehocking, Serpentine, Sugartown preserves; Greentree, Mill, Rita Reves Parks; Fox Hollow and Duffryn Trail) and Willistown Conservation Trust’s Kirkwood Preserve.

Judging will take place in March 2022 and prize winners will be chosen and prizes will be awarded by Willistown Parks and Recreation in each category.

Prizes have yet to be announced.

Winners will be contacted via the phone number they provide on the entry form.

Winners will be celebrated at our Greentree Park Parties and be listed on the township website and in digital media.

Winning images may be displayed at various Willistown Parks & Recreation locations, website, social media sites and other potential platforms.

You may submit one photo per form with a three form, or three photo, maximum.

  • Happy Camper(s) (photos of a child or children loving our winter in Willistown's parks, preserves, and trails)
  • Family Funtime
  • Junior Photographer (ages 5-17)
  • Most Artistic
  • My Happy Place Selfie
  • Landscape
  • Preserve Pups (Leash rules must be followed at all times. Photos of one or more dogs acceptable.)
  • Wildlife
  • Outdoor Valentines
