Wreaths Across America Coming To Paoli Battlefield Saturday

Come honor fallen veterans at the Paoli Battlefield Saturday morning at the Wreaths Across America ceremony.

MALVERN, PA – The Paoli Battlefield will host a Wreaths Across American ceremony this weekend.

The event put on by the Paoli Battlefield Presentation Fund, the Chester County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Paoli Memorial Association will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Paoli Memorial Grounds.

The ceremony will last about an hour.

Volunteers are still needed to lay the 53 wreaths and to help with set up and tear down.

A large event tent and chairs will be available for attendees to sit during the event.

Ben Franklin will be the sole speaker and the Daughters of the American Revolution will again bring hot chocolate for attendees.

Wreaths Across America will lay remembrance wreaths on the graves of the nation's fallen heroes.

Observed annually on the third Saturday in December, National Wreaths Across America Day is a movement to cover all veterans grave markers with a Christmas wreath.
