Bellbottoms, feather boas, and disco dancing are making a triumphant return to Philadelphia with "Saturday Night Fever" at the Walnut.

Bellbottoms, feather boas, and disco dancing are making a triumphant return to Philadelphia with Saturday Night Fever The Musical at Walnut Street Theatre, and Malvern actor Lexi Gwynn is ready to boogie. This exciting stage adaptation of the 1977 film that helped define a generation runs now through July 16th.

Set in 1970s Brooklyn, Saturday Night Fever follows the story of Tony Manero, a young man with a dead-end job and only one ambition in life: to become the disco king. When he meets Stephanie, who also dreams of success beyond Brooklyn, the two decide to train for a dance competition that begins to change their lives forever.

Lexi Gwynn plays Linda Manero, Tony’s youngest sibling, in the show. Gwynn has also played the little sister role in Walnut Street Theatre’s production of High Society, and has been seen in Walnut productions of A Christmas Story, Elf, and Alice in Wonderland.
