1,107 Cans of Food Donated From PHMS in Annual Turkey Trot
The cans of food were collected last month and were donated to local Marple families in need and City Team Ministries.
BROOMALL–Paxon Hollow Middle School held its annual Turkey Trot where over 200 students, teachers, staff and family members participate in a run around the school. The winners of the Turkey Trot received a free turkey compliments of Giant markets.
Students donated 1,107 canned food items during the Thanksgiving holiday season to be distributed to Marple families and CityTeam Ministries in Philadelphia. Jan Mayer's homeroom had the most donated items, a whopping total of 198.
