12 Main Line Firefighters Graduate From Montco Fire Academy

Forty-one firefighters, including 12 from Main Line fire companies, are part of the Montgomery County Fire Academy Class 1804.

Twelve firefighters with the Main Line fire companies are among the 41 volunteer firefighters who are part of the Montgomery County Fire Academy Class 1804.

The 41 graduates will celebrate their completion of the Pennsylvania Entry Level Firefighter Training program with a graduation ceremony Wednesday night at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Campus on 1175 Conshohocken Road in Conshohocken.

The 12 Main Line-area graduates and their fire companies are:

  • Joseph Cunningham – Radnor Fire Company
  • Ryan Kramer, Scott Miesen, and Matthew Smith-Tucker – Berwyn Fire Company
  • John Thomas and Justin Thomas – Merion Fire Company of Ardmore
  • Mary Anne Maguire – Llanerch Fire Company
  • Rajiv Anand and Megan Caterino – East Whiteland Fire Company
  • Katherine Israelite and Isreal Kroizer – Union Fire Association
  • Kevin Kelley – Belmont Hills Fire Company

These men and women will protect their communities as firefighters in 39 volunteer and combination fire companies in Montgomery, Berks, Chester, and Delaware Counties.
