There, police met the caller and the other driver, later identified as Perrotta.
Police said they suspected Perrotta of being under the influence of alcohol, a controlled substance, or both, and took him into custody.
After being processed and on his way back to the police station, Perrotta told officers, "It's not like I hit someone," police said.
Perrotta was sentenced to nine to 18 months in prison for his 11th DUI in 2021.
The Delaware County Daily Times reports he was also sentenced to 45 months to 8-and-a-half years for a 2006 DUI, which was his 10th.
Court records show a DUI charge for Perrotta in Delaware County as far back as 1987.
For the most recent charge, Perrotta was released after posting $50,000 bail.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 11, according to court records.
