2 Marple, Newtown Roads Impacted By PennDOT Wok Next Week

Two roads in Marple and Newtown townships will have lane closures overnight and during the daytime next week, PennDOT said.

MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — Two roads in Marple and Newtown townships will have traffic hindrances next week due to PennDOT work.

Tuesday through Friday next week, Cedar Grove and Media Line roads will have lane closures.

A lane closure is scheduled on Cedar Grove Road between Newtown Street Road/Route 252 and Sproul Road/Route 320 in Marple and Newtown townships for utility adjustments, milling, and paving.

A lane on Media Line Road will be closed between Newtown Street Road/Route 252 and West Chester Pike/Route 3 in Marple Township for utility adjustments, milling, and paving.

These closures both will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

These operations are being done under multiple ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
