2 Marple Roads Affected By PennDOT Work This Week
PennDOT will be working on two roads in Marple Township this week, affecting daytime and nighttime traffic.
MARPLE, PA — Two roads in Marple Township will be affected by PennDOT projects this week, according to officials.
PennDOT said Sproul Road and Interstate 476 in Marple will have lane restrictions and closures, respectively, this week.
Drivers will see lane restrictions on Sproul Road/Route 320 Monday, July 15, through Saturday, July 20 due to concrete island removal work, PennDOT said.

A single lane restriction will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. those days between U.S. 1 and West Chester Pike/Route 3 in Marple and Springfield townships.
Additionally, lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 476 Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 26 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Interstate 476 between the I-95 Interchange and the Delaware County line in Marple, Radnor Ridley, and Nether Providence townships
The closures are accommodating guide rail repairs.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
