3 Dirt Bikes Stolen From Broomall Garage Thursday

Police said the dirt bikes were stolen from a garage on Sussex Boulevard then were seen driving on Lawrence Road before fleeing police.

BROOMALL, PA — Police in Marple Township said they are looking for the people responsible for the theft of three dirt bikes form a Sussex Boulevard garage recently.

According to police, the theft occurred early Thursday at a garage located on the 300 block of Sussex Boulevard.

The suspects forced their way into the garage and stole two Suzuki dirt bikes and a Yamaha dirt bike.

At about 3:03 a.m. Thursday, officers saw three dirt bikes similar to those that were stolen on Lawrence Road with a green four-door sedan, possibly a Buick, in tow.

Unaware of the theft, the officer turned around to stop the bikes, which drove off in different directions with headlights and taillights out.

Police said the car seen with the dirt bikes had an illegible tag but appeared to have a temporary registration in the upper left corner of the rear window.
