$300 In Lottery Tickets Stolen From Newtown Square Store: Police
Police said the woman seen here stole the scratch-off lottery tickets while the business owner was distracted on Monday, Jan. 22.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – Newtown Township Police said a woman recently stole several hundred dollars worth of lottery tickets from a Newtown Square business and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating her.
At about 12:20 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, a woman entered Newtown Beer and Soda on West Chester Pike and allegedly stole $300 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets while the owner was distracted, police said.
The woman hid the tickets in her jacket and fled the store on foot, police said.

During the incident, she was wearing purple pants, black jacket, Eagles shirt, and a purple head scarf.
Anyone who can identify the woman is asked to contact Newtown Township Police by calling 911 and asking to speak with a Newtown Township Police officer.
