476 South In Marple Seeing Lane Closures This Week

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Southbound Interstate 476 in Marple Township and nearby Delaware County municipalities will see lane closures this week for tree removal work, PennDOT said.

I-476 south will see a right lane closure daily this week, Monday, March 26 through Friday, March 30, between the U.S. 1 and Media/Swarthmore interchanges in Marple, Springfield and Nether Providence townships.

Closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to PennDOT.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during construction.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
