5K Run, Walk To Honor Late Marple Police Officer Brian Niedelman

Marple Police Officer Brian Niedelman died suddenly at 31 in December 2020. The new event will support the foundation set up in his name.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Back in December 2020, Marple Township Police Officer Brian Niedelman died suddenly at just 31 years old.

Now, the Brian Niedelman Memorial Foundation is hosting its first ever 5k run and walk that will support the foundation established in the late officer's name.

The race will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 24 at O'Hara High School's campus.

Registration is $50 per person or $175 for a team of four.

On site registration beings at 9 a.m.

Digital registration ends at 11:59 p.m. Friday, April 1.

Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female, as well as the overall top three.

All proceeds from this race will go to three local families of fallen first responders.

There will be food and beverages available following the event.
