Update, 12:35 p.m.: The exit linking Route 1 northbound and I-476 is fully closed, 511PA says. It's expected to reopen at around 2 p.m.

MARPLE, PA — Crews are responding to a vehicle fire Thursday at a ramp linking two highways in Marple Township, officials said.

It broke out around 11 a.m. on the Route 1 northbound exit to Interstate 476, according to 511PA.

Lane restrictions are in place, and drivers should expect significant delays in the area, according to the Broomall Fire Company.
