Bank Robbed Tuesday In Newtown Square: Police

A man threatened a teller at the PNC Bank on the West Chester Pike with a firearm during a broad daylight robbery Tuesday afternoon.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — An armed man robbed a Newtown Square bank Tuesday.

The robbery occurred at about 2:30 p.m. at the PNC Bank on the 3600 block of West Chester Pike in Newtown Square, Action News reports.

A man came into the bank and threatened a teller with a gun, eventually making off with an undisclosed amount of money, Newtown Township Police said.
