Bishop Hollow Road Lane Closing Next Week In Newtown

The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. next week and will accommodate surface treatment work, PennDOT said.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Bishop Hollow Road in Newtown Township will have a lane closure next week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, a lane closure is planned on Bishop Hollow Road Monday through Friday next week as crews conduct high friction surface treatment operations.

The affected portion is between Gradyville and Hempstead roads.

Drivers will encounter the closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.

The work is part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
