Body Found In Mattress Identified By Delaware County Police
Upper Darby Police are asking anyone who knew 61-year-old Rosemary Byrne's death, activities, and more to contact them at 610-734-7693.
UPPER DARBY, PA — Authorities in Delaware County have identified the body found in a mattress behind a home in December.
Upper Darby Police said the person found was Rosemary Byrne, 61.
Byre was found dead in a mattress in an alley on the 7000 block of Greenwood Avenue in Dec. 16, 2022.

Police said she was reported missing on Dec. 12, 2022 and was last living in Newark, Delaware.
"We have been in contact with Ms. Byrne's family, and our thoughts and prayers go out to them during this difficult time," police said. "We are working diligently to learn the circumstances by which Ms. Bryne passed, and we are asking the public for any and all help they can provide."
