Body Found In Springton Reservoir Confirmed As Missing Aston Man

The Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office said the body was that of Stephen Sentyz Jr., 42, of Aston.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — The body found in Springton Reservoir in Marple Township on July 14 has been identified as a missing Aston man.

The Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the person found in the water was Stephen Sentyz Jr., 42, of Aston.

Sentyz's cause and manner of death are pending, but officials said his death does not appear suspicious.

Sentyz was last seen at about 3 p.m. Monday, July 8 on Route 252 in the area of the reservoir.

His body was discovered at about 6 p.m. Sunday, July 14.
