Bomb Threat At Cardinal O'Hara Under Investigation
After a bomb threat locked down Cardinal O'Hara High School Monday, Marple Township Police are trying to identify who made the threat.

SPRINGFIELD, PA – Police in Marple Township said Monday it was a bomb threat that led to a lockdown at an area Catholic school and are now trying to find out who made the threat.
Marple Township Police said Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon after the school got a report of a bomb threat.
Police evacuated about 1,200 students from the school due to the reported threat and swept the school for any potential devices.

Eventually, police cleared the school after their search did not yield any device.
Students were dismissed at 2:30 p.m.

Police are working to identify who made the threat and are asking for the public's help.
