Tuesday morning, June 11, 2013 the rains stopped and the sun
came through long enough for Andrew DiPlacido to bring his grandparents, Peter
and Elena DiPlacido to the Broomall Fire Station. He convinced them to ask
questions about a couple of fire extinguishers they had at their house.
Andrews’s real motive was to see the fire trucks and get the experience of
sitting in a few, what a thrill! Fire Police Officers Russell Nelson, Dennis
DeFusco and Public Information Officer Tony Cavarocchi had the pleasure of
escorting this very dedicated family around the station. We’re looking forward
to a return visit and a little sunshine back in our lives.
