Final (Video) Invitation To Participate In The Senior Games For Those Age 50+

The other week I invited seniors, age 50+, to sign up for the Delaware County Senior Games. The games take place from June 10^th to 21^st at locations throughout Delaware County. The games are also open to non-residents this year.   To make it easier than ever to enroll, an application is attached to this article. To the right of this post is also video interview with Robert Ballentine of Media PA. Robert is a volunteer for this year’s Senior Games. In our interview at the 2013 Delaware County Senior Fair he tells readers a little about the games.

Philadelphia County has also opened their senior games to residents of other counties for the first time this year. As with Delaware County, the activities are for adults age 50+. Those games run from June 8 and 10 to 14 at various locations throughout the County. Furthermore, the games include everything from a Scrabble tournament to a triathlon.

As you might have guessed, the winners of local senior games have an opportunity to participate in the national games which take place from July 19 - August 1, 2013, in Cleveland Ohio.

So what are you waiting for? View the video, download the application and hand it to a senior on your block who might be interested in participating in this year’s games.
