Where There Is Smoke, There is Usually Fire

Former Chairman of General Electric Jack Welch’s assertion that the Obama administration cooked the current labor statistics lowering the unemployment rate to 7.8 percent from 8.1 that has been constant since Obama took office almost 4 years ago, should be taken with a grain of salt.

This is not say that the Obama administration’s numbers are correct or not correct. But, one thing I will say, where there is smoke, there is usually a fire especially when two days prior to the announcement, Mr. Obama was outshined by Mr. Romney making Obama look like a “caged animal,” sometimes, even floundering and resorting to nonsense.

Mr. Obama in the last debate with Romney could not defend the indefensible.  Anyway, how can he, when we have skyrocketing federal budget deficits, gasoline prices going through the roof reaching the $4 plateau in some places, a federal government as a large as an elephant, a healthcare system that is choking most Americans, a social security system that if continues on the present path will become bankrupt sooner than previously thought, a still anemic job market, food and other costs rising more than 30 percent in some cases and an increasing tax rates for small businesses and middle class Americans.

The only people that are gaining under this president are those on the government payroll and those who collect a monthly check and entitlements. Let me just say this, Social Security is not an entitlement. Entitlements are freebees and the freebees are increasing exponentially under this president. The government of this country has never in the 200 years been as large as it is today under the most liberal administration this country has ever had. Mr. Obama and his cronies in Washington, Vice President Biden, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate majority leader Harry Reid has been the most liberal trio this country has ever had and it is time for them to go home.   

Let us face the facts: the Obama administration has failed the American people where it counts the most their pockets. Obama’s economic policies have eroded the purchasing power of most Americans and it is time for change in this country of ours. 

Four years ago, an Obama’s candidacy looked and felt good because America had finally arrived. The American people were electing a minority president for the first time in our nation’s history. Today, that choice does not shine as well. Obama has proved time and again that he is just another politician, another run-of-the-mill presidential candidate who will do anything and everything to get re-elected and cooking the labor statistics’ books cannot be discounted.

As we have seen in the past, Obama will say, promise and do anything to guarantee his re-election. This November, let us give Mr.  Obama the present he deserves, “a ticket home.”  

For, he has had his time in the sun and he got burned.
