Broomall Driving School Hosting Certified Theory, Skills Course

The course is recommended for high school students preparing for either their permit test and/or their driver's license test.

BROOMALL, PA — The Defensive Driving Academy, Inc. in Broomall is hosting a virtual class that will teach drivers the best practices to drive safely for eight weeks starting in October.

A Pennsylvania-certified Driver Education Theory and Skills Course for new drivers will be taught by the academy from Oct. 3 through Nov. 21.

Classes will be held Saturday mornings online form 9 a.m. to noon, for a total of 24 hours of training.

The minimum age to attend is 15, as the course is recommended for high school students preparing for either their permit test and/or their driver’s license test. A driver’s permit is not required to attend this course.

The course costs $100, but most insurance companies will provide a discount for course completion, as well.
