Broomall Man Possessed, Shared Child Porn Videos And Photos: DA
The 59-year-old Broomall man is out on bail after being arrested May 14, according to court records.

BROOMALL, PA – A Broomall man has been arrested and charged with possessing child pornography and related crimes after Delaware County and local investigators discovered videos and images of children engaged in various sex acts on his computer, according to Delaware County District Attorney Katayoun Copeland.
Daniel Fisher, 59, of Broomall, has been charged with five counts of felony child pornography possession, three counts of felony disseminating child pornography, and five felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility, court records show.
Fisher's charges are the result of an investigation into peer-to-peer file sharing programs used to share child pornography.

The investigation led detectives with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Criminal Investigation Division Internet Crime Against Children Task Force to get a search warrant for Fisher's Broomall home, the DA's office said.
At about 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2017, county and Marple Township authorities searched Fisher's Lyndhurst Drive home and found a computer with a hard drive containing videos and images showing child pornography, according to the DA's office.

Detectives examined the hard drive and found images of a naked girl who is between 6 and 10 years old, as well as videos of child pornography depicting children ranging in age from 10 to 14 years old, some of whom were exposed, bound/tied-down, and sexually abused, the DA's office said.
"Individuals who share and possess child pornography directly contribute to the horrific exploitation of innocent children," Copeland said. "Those who engage in this criminal behavior here in Delaware County should be forewarned that our ICAC Task Force is actively working to locate and arrest these perpetrators who further the victimization of children. I would like to commend our Criminal Investigation Division ICAC Task Force along with the Marple Township Police Department for their continued work to find and apprehend these perpetrators."
Fisher was released after posting 10 percent of $75,000 bail at his May 14 preliminary arraignment, court records show.
While he is out on bail, Fisher is barred from having contact with minors and may only use the internet for "personal administrative functions," the DA's office said.
He will appear for his preliminary hearing on June 18, according to court documents.
