This community outreach project that includes storytelling about Haverford Township’s history, faith communities, and service organizations will be held in the Union Campus sanctuary, 200 Brookline Boulevard, on Sunday May 3 at 3 pm, followed by a reception in the back of the church to greet the many singers, musicians, and storytellers participating in the event. The Havertown Choristers, the handbell choir from Temple Lutheran Church, the Armenian Martyrs' Congregational Church Choir, and a combined choir from various congregations, along with harpsichord, and soloists will provide an enjoyable hour of music which will be interspersed with stories of our history as we celebrate our country's 250th birthday.&nbsp;

Come birding at the peak of spring migration.&nbsp;Join us as we explore rolling hills and lush woods, looking and listening for warblers, sparrows, red tailed hawks, black and turkey vultures and many other species. We may even see bald eagles and bobolinks. This "Rain or Shine" event will be led by accomplished birders Mike McGraw and Phil Whitmer, and co=sponsored by Bird Town PA, Newtown Square EAC, Garrett Williamson Foundation and CRC.&nbsp;The Garrett Williamson property is a total of 240 acres and has approximately 4 miles of walking trails. The trails meander through open fields and meadows, riparian areas featuring a tributary to Crum Creek and primarily beech tree dominant forest. There are many diverse habitats and edges because the property is farmed, and they have an educational garden which is visited regularly by birds. The property is private and generally closed to the public so this would be a unique opportunity to visit this large piece of mostly undeveloped land in Newtown Square.

Curious about new technology but not sure where to start? Wayne Senior Center invites the community to its first-ever Community Tech Fair on Wednesday, May 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 108 Station Road, Wayne.
This free event is designed to make technology approachable, practical, and fun for all ages. Visitors can explore interactive tables, live demonstrations, community resources, and short presentations featuring technology that can support everyday life, creativity, health, and independence.
Topics and demonstrations will include:
<ul><li>3D printing</li><li>Health and wellness technology</li><li>Digital art</li><li>Assistive technology</li><li>Smart devices</li><li>In-home tech support resources</li><li>Free local technology services</li></ul>
