250th History Hike with Local Historians!!

Join us at 10am on Saturday, October 24th when Garrett Williamson will host a 250th History Hike with local historian Douglas Humes, and Cathy Cavalier, the President of the Newtown Square Historical Society!

We'll start off with a short meet and greet at the impressive, historic barn - and fuel up with coffee and donuts! (This will be in the Ram Barn behind the huge Garrett Williamson Barn)

This fascinating event will include details about the iconic buildings on the property, including the Daniel Willamson House, which is considered to be the oldest home in Newtown Township, Delaware County.

We will also take a beautiful hike around the 26-acre working farm and the pastures where livestock roam, and then head into the woods where there are 5 miles of hiking trails.

This educational hike will be your chance to learn about the stalwart and colorful personalities who populated Newtown Township years ago!
