Car, Driver Pulled From Pond In Newtown Square Over Weekend

A vehicle ended up in a Newtown Square pone over the weekend.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A vehicle and driver were pulled from a Newtown Square pond over the weekend, according to first responders.

The Newtown Square Fire Company was called to a retention pond on the 3800 block of West Chester Pike at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday for a vehicle in the water.

The Manoa Fire Company also responded to help with the water rescue.

The driver was removed from the vehicle unharmed.

First responders stayed at the scene to help tow the vehicle out of the pond.
