Car Fire Breaks Out After Driver Crashes Into Pole: Marple Police
The driver was pulled from the wreckage and taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the Broomall Fire Company.

BROOMALL, PA — Broomall Fire Company and Marple Township Police responded to a vehicle fire over the weekend.
According to police, a car fire broke out at about 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 4.
The incident occurred near Williamsburg and South Sproul roads.

Police said the driver crashed the vehicle into a traffic signal pole, then caught fire.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pulled from the wreckage before the fire company arrived, according to the Broomall Fire Company.

The driver was taken a hospital; their condition is unknown, the fire company said.
Fire fighters extinguished the blaze quickly.
