Car Fire Damages Marple Home Over Weekend

A vehicle that caught fire on the 100 block of Lindbergh Avenue singed parts of the home it was parked outside of, firefighters said.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A weekend car fire in Marple Township damaged the home the vehicle was parked outside of, responders said.

According to the Broomall Fire Company, crews were called to a home on the 100 block of Lindbergh Avenue just before midnight Saturday for a vehicle fire.

First responders found the vehicle ablaze, with the fire spreading to the home, the fire company said.

While the fire spread to the residence, crews were able to quickly place the fire under control, according to the fire company.

The scene was clear in a few hours' time, the fire company said.
