Cars Broken Into At Ellis Preserve: Newtown Police
Police said all vehicles that were broken into had items sitting in plain view on vehicle seats.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Several vehicles parked at the Ellis Preserve were broken into Tuesday night, Newtown Township Police said.
According to police, officers were called to the Ellis Preserve parking lot and found three vehicles were broken into.
All three had windows smashed, police said.

A laptop and personal belongings were stolen from the vehicles.
According to police, all the items that were stolen were sitting in plain view on seats in the vehicles.

"We ask people to stop leaving personal belongings inside their vehicle in plain view," police said. "Vehicles in the parking lot which did not have valuables in plain view were left alone."
