Cedar Grove, Media Line Road Lanes Closing This Week
PennDOT said the two roads in Marple and Newtown townships will have lane closures overnight and during the day to accommodate various work.
MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — Cedar Grove Road and Media Line Road in Marple and Newtown townships will have lane closures this week due to various work, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, portions of both roads in Marple and Newtown will have lane closures during the day, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and overnight, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning.
These closures will accommodate utility adjustments, milling, and paving.

Cedar Grove Road's lane closure will be between Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) and Route 320 (Sproul Road).
A lane on Media Line Road will close between Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike).

This work is part of ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
