(Sept. 17, 2013) – Chief Investment Officer, Matt Forester of CFG Asset Management, a registered investment adviser and portfolio management firm, has been selected as a panelist for an S&P Dow Jones Indices forum for financial advisors, “Diversifying and Differentiating Exposures to income and Emerging Markets” to be held on Wednesday, September 25th, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. -4:30 p.m. at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Boston.

Matt Forester is a 24-year veteran of global macroeconomic analysis and its application to investment strategy. He specializes in developing ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) portfolio strategies. As chief investment officer he manages and monitors the company’s portfolio of assets. At his former firm, he developed one of the nation’s first SMA (Separately Managed Accounts) of ETFs.
Since joining CFG Asset Management, Matt has championed the development of innovative portfolio strategies that highlight diversification and steer clients towards toward low-risk, high reward investments. His top priority for managing CFGAM clients is in strategic asset allocation, balancing risk and opportunity through a highly diversified, multi-asset approach.

Matt holds a BS in Economics (Finance and Political Science concentrations) from Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania. His holds the Series 4, 7, 24, 53, and 63 securities registrations. He has been a guest lecturer at Cabrini College and the Rutgers University MBA Program.
