Chesterbrook Academy Preschool at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square Celebrates Week of the Young Child

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square celebrated the national initiative Week of the Young Child by participating in several educational activities throughout the week of April 24. Students took part in activities to go along with the theme for each day of the week, including art projects, parachute games, musical activities, snack time, and listened to stories read by parent volunteers. Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families.
