Chesterbrook Academy® Preschool at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square Holds Food Drive for Philabundance
Students donated more than 500 nonperishable food items for Philadelphia-area residents in need
Chesterbrook Academy preschool at Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square recently held a food drive in support of Philabundance. Throughout December, students worked together to collect more than 500 nonperishable food items. The donations were delivered to Philabundance’s Hunger Relief Center in Philadelphia, where they will be distributed to those in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community.
Founded in 1984, Philabundance reduces hunger and food insecurity in the Delaware Valley by providing food access to those in need in partnership with organizations and individuals. For more information, visit www.philabundance.org.
