Circle At Sundown A Huge Success

Residents and businesses celebrated the Newtown Square Community

Newtown Township partnered with Gather in the Circle to celebrate the community during the Circle at Sun Down event, held on Saturday, September 18th at Chapel Road and St. Albans Circle. The event brought together more than 500 residents and businesses from throughout Newtown Township for an evening of local food and beverages, live music and entertainment, right in the heart of the Township.

The event, aimed at celebrating the Newtown Square community, was free to attend with food and beverages were available for purchase. In addition, donations of canned goods and full-sized toiletries were collected for the St. Alban's Episcopal Church food collection ministry. Receptacles were located throughout the event. Donations will continually be accepted and dropped off in the lobby of the Township building until September 30, 2021.

Stephen Nease, Township Manger, remarked, “With over 500 people in attendance, we were incredibly pleased with the success of Circle at Sun Down.” Nease continued, “The response and feedback from residents and businesses to this event has inspired us to work on other community-focused events to be held throughout the year.”
